Critic for Northern Ontario Jobs and The Ring of Fire
A lifelong resident of Sault Ste. Marie, Ross has served his community since 2014 as a City Councillor.
As the father of a young family, Ross understands the challenges Sault Ste. Marie residents face under the Wynne Liberals. After 14 long years of Liberal governments at Queen’s Park, life is harder. Skyrocketing hydro rates are unaffordable for both families and businesses. Cuts to health care services has meant more time waiting for care, and billions of taxpayer dollars continue to be wasted on scandal after scandal.
As a lawyer, Ross has served as an in-house Duty Counsel at the Sault Ste. Marie Courthouse, Assistant Crown Attorney in Sault Ste. Marie, and as a Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Sault Ste. Marie. Ross currently specializes in civil & criminal litigation with the firm O’Neill, DeLorenzi Mendes.
Active in community affairs, Ross is proud to be a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Downtown Rotary Club and also enjoys volunteering in the summer months as a coach with the Sault Youth Soccer Association.
Ross holds an undergraduate degree from Algoma University and earned a law degree at the University of Windsor. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in July 2005.
Ross lives in Sault Ste. Marie with his wife Heather and their three children. Ross was elected to the Legislature following the 2017 By-Election in Sault Ste Marie.
