QUEEN’S PARK – Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli asked the Wynne Government today to come clean with Ontarians about what really happened surrounding the Sudbury bribery scandal.

Fedeli’s inquiry followed contradictory responses given by the Premier and Deputy Premier yesterday surrounding payment of legal fees for Gerry Lougheed, who is now facing criminal charges in connection with the Sudbury byelection.

MPP Walker challenges Liberal government to honour its promise to seniors on LTC beds News Date

QUEEN’S PARK – With 21,000 seniors waiting for a long-term care bed in Ontario, it’s inexcusable that the Liberal government is eight years behind schedule on plans to develop beds in Ontario.

What’s worse, Ontario’s two ministers of health haven’t so much as drafted a schedule to show where and when the beds will be developed in Ontario, said Ontario PC Associate Health Critic for Long Term-Care, MPP Bill Walker.

Wynne Liberals Allowing Children to Languish on Autism Therapy Waitlists

QUEEN’S PARK - Today in the Legislature, Leader of the Official Opposition Patrick Brown asked Premier Wynne why her Liberal Government continues to let children sit on waitlists for autism treatment programs.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Ontario's wait lists for children’s autism support services have grown to over 16,000 spaces, and some families are waiting years for services.

SCOTT STANDS UP AGAINST INCREASING HYDRO RATES

QUEEN’S PARK – As of November 1st, 2015, hydro rates have increased to 17.5 cents per kilowatt-hour for on-peak hours. Hydro rates are now four times what they were when the Liberal Government first came into power.

During Question Period, Laurie Scott (MPP for Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock) asked the Minister of Energy about the government’s continued push to subsidize the costs of industrial solar and wind projects as Ontarians suffer the consequences.
