Jill Dunlop is the Ontario PC candidate for Simcoe North.
A mother of three teenage daughters, Jill grew up in a political family. Her father, Garfield, served as the MPP for Simcoe North from 1999 to 2015, and her mother, Jane, has served as a municipal councillor in Severn Township. Jill’s grandfather also served Simcoe County in municipal politics. As a result, Jill understands how to navigate government and deliver results for her community.
Jill is actively involved in the Simcoe County community. She served as Chair of the Simcoe Muskoka Child Advocacy Centre’s Marketing and Fundraising Committee and as a member of the Orillia Community Action Network, Push for Change initiative to end homelessness, Sunshine Sledge Hockey Tournament, and as a school parent volunteer.
On top of that, she chaired the Garfield Dunlop Golf Tournament for 15 years.
As Community Outreach Liaison for Experiential Learning and Faculty at Georgian College, Jill has worked to advance post-secondary education in Simcoe County.
Jill strongly believes it’s time for a change in Ontario. She will be a strong voice for Simcoe North’s local health care services, and she will work tirelessly so that Simcoe County families pay less and get ahead.
