This morning, in his first call with Northern media since becoming Ontario PC Leader, Doug Ford reiterated his commitment to being a strong voice for the North.
“There is nowhere I love visiting more than the North. But under Kathleen Wynne and the Liberals, the North has been ignored,” said Ford. “Families in Northern Ontario are ready for change, and the Ontario PCs are going to be the ones to bring it.”
“I am pleased to learn of the decisions made by the Provincial Nominations Committee. As Leader, I am fully focused on the June election and taking the fight to Kathleen Wynne. Together we will ensure that we are in the best position possible to defeat the Wynne Liberals and form a majority government."
“Earlier today, the Ontario PC Party’s Provincial Nominations Committee (PNC) met.
“The unanimous decision of the Provincial Nomination Committee was that Patrick Brown will not be an eligible candidate for nomination in Barrie—Springwater—Oro-Medonte.”

“Earlier today, the Ontario PC Party’s Provincial Nominations Committee (PNC) met. The unanimous decision of the PNC was to reopen nominations in the following ridings:
“By proroguing the Legislature, Kathleen Wynne and the Liberals want you to think this is a reset for their government. But the people of this province know better. There is no reset on 15 years of Liberal waste and political corruption.
“We’ve seen this story before. Kathleen Wynne is untrustworthy. Her government will say, do, and promise anything to cling to power. She is only interested in saving her own political career.
