Gary Bennett | Kingston and the Islands
Gary Bennett is the Ontario PC candidate for Kingston and the Islands.
Gary is a lifetime resident of the City of Kingston. He was first elected to Kingston City Council in 1988 where he served two terms as a member of City Council and went on to serve two terms as Mayor.
Prior to entering public office, Gary worked at the family business, Bennett’s Foods, a local food retailer that was first established in Kingston in 1917. Gary is currently a self-employed business person in the City of Kingston.
Gary is active in community affairs, and he has served on numerous boards and organizations including the United Way of Kingston, Kingston Library Board, the Police Services Board and the Kingston General Hospital Foundation.
He is married to Cheryl-Anne Bennett and together they have two children.
Gary’s dedication to his community is evident, and he will work tirelessly to ensure Kingston and the Islands families pay less and get ahead.
