Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on the nomination of Todd McCarthy
“I congratulate Todd on his nomination as the Ontario PC candidate for Ajax.
“Todd is a leading Ontario trial lawyer, partner at Flaherty McCarthy LLP, and a long-time Progressive Conservative activist. His experience will be a very welcome asset to our team. Todd’s passion for his community is reflected in his past service as part-time deputy judge of the Superior Court of Justice for the Central East Region, Trustee and Vice Chairman of the Board of the Durham Region Separate School Board, and as Chair of The Scarborough Hospital Foundation. I am veryconfident that Todd will be a strong representative for the residents of Ajax.
“After 13 years in power, life is harder under the Liberals. Skyrocketing hydro rates are unaffordable for both families and businesses. Cut after cut to health care services has meant more time waiting for care, and taxpayer dollars continue to be wasted on billion dollar scandals. Ontario residents deserve better.
