Statement from PC Leader on Remembrance Week


The following is a statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown:

“Earlier this week, the Legislative Assembly of Ontario unanimously passed MPP Jim Wilson’s Remembrance Week Act, 2016, designating the week leading up to Remembrance Day as ‘Remembrance Week.’

“The people of Ontario must never forget the courage and sacrifice made by the men and women who gave their lives for our country in wars and in peace support operations.”

“I would like to thank Ontario Legion Command, serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces and the veterans who joined us for this fitting tribute.”

“We shall not forget.”
