Statement from the Ontario PC Party on the Nomination of Adam Ibrahim in Windsor West

“I congratulate Adam Ibrahim on being nominated by the Ontario PC members of Windsor West as our new candidate for the 2018 General Election. I am very confident that Adam will be a strong voice for the Ontario PC Party’s positive message of change. Having lived in Windsor as a student during Law School, the city is very dear to my heart. I look forward to helping Adam turn Windsor West Ontario PC blue.

“Born and raised in Windsor, Adam understands the challenges the people of Windsor face. With experience working in politics and in business, including running his family-owned business Windsor Pure & Clean H2O TO GO, I know that Adam is the fighter that Windsor needs to stand up against Wynne Liberal scandal, mismanagement, and waste.

“Quite frankly, after 13 years in power, life is harder under the Liberals. Skyrocketing hydro rates have driven Ontarians into energy poverty and businesses out of the province, and we continue to see cut after cut to essential health care services. Liberal scandal after Liberal scandal means that Ontario lags behind our neighbours. Plain and simple. Enough is enough. It’s time for a change in Ontario. It’s time for a government that puts the people first, not political self-interests.  Let’s send Adam Ibrahim to Queen’s Park in 2018.”

Statement from Adam Ibrahim on being nominated as the Ontario PC Candidate in Windsor West:

“I am very excited to work alongside Patrick Brown and our up and coming team to help rebuild our province. I’m ready to put in the hard work, and knock on as many doors as possible, to turn Windsor West Ontario PC blue.

“I am here to show the people of Windsor that regardless of who you are, where you work, or where you worship, you have a home in the Ontario PC party and I will make it a priority to have your voice heard.

“The people of Windsor deserve better. They deserve to live in a city that is competitive and affordable. They deserve to have good-paying, long-term and stable jobs. But, Kathleen Wynne has only ever made life harder for families, seniors, and businesses. Kathleen Wynne’s legacy is one of skyrocketing hydro rates, cuts to front-line health care services, and of scandal after scandal. It’s time Ontario holds this government accountable. It’s time for a change.

“It’s becoming clearer and clearer that the people of Windsor are ready for that change. Together, we grew the Windsor West riding association by 600 new members who signed up because enough is enough and they want to take our province back.

Statement from MPP Rick Nicholls (Chatham-Kent-Essex) on the nomination of Adam Ibrahim as the Ontario PC Candidate in Windsor West:

“Adam Ibrahim brings compassion, commitment and dedication in everything he does.  His professional work ethic combined with a strong desire to better serve the people of Windsor West will mean greater opportunities for employment for people of all ages as well as to better care for our most vulnerable.  I strongly support Adam because of the values and principles he demonstrates in everything he says and does.”
