Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on the nomination of Prabmeet Sarkaria

The following is a statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on the nomination of Prabmeet Sarkaria as the Ontario PC Party candidate for Brampton South:

“I congratulate Prabmeet Sarkaria on his nomination as the Ontario PC candidate for Brampton South.
“Prabmeet brings an important perspective to our modern, inclusive and pragmatic Ontario PC team. Prabmeet is a lawyer, serves on the City of Brampton’s Property Standards Committee, and is an organizer for the annual Hockey for Humanity tournament. An active fixture in the Brampton community and as the former Ontario Vice President of the World Sikh Organization, we are lucky to have Prabmeet’s diverse experience as part of our Ontario PC team. I know he will work hard to build a stronger Brampton and Ontario.
“After 13 years, life is harder under the Liberals. Skyrocketing hydro rates are unaffordable for both families and businesses. Cut after cut to health care services has meant more time waiting for care, and taxpayer dollars continue to be wasted.
“In Brampton South and across the province, the Ontario PC Party will continue to work hard to earn the trust of voters. I look forward to working with Prabmeet and the rest of our Ontario PC team as we work hard to share our positive message of change.”
