Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on Nina Tangri

Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on the nomination of Nina Tangri as the Ontario PC Candidate for Mississauga-Streetsville:

“I congratulate Nina Tangri on being nominated by party members as the Ontario PC candidate for Mississauga-Streetsville.

“As a long-time conservative activist and community volunteer, Nina brings extensive experience to our Ontario PC team, and as a business owner and a mother, she understands the challenges that everyday Ontarians face. I am sure that Nina Tangri will be a tireless advocate for the people of Mississauga-Streetsville.

“After 13 years in power, life is harder under the Liberals. Families and businesses struggle to afford skyrocketing electricity prices. Cuts to health care mean that our province’s most vulnerable are left waiting far too long for care, and scandal after scandal has meant that billions and billions of tax dollars have been wasted needlessly.

“As Ontario families have struggled for years to get ahead, only the Ontario PC Party has been standing up and fighting for them at Queen’s Park. While the people of Ontario are ready for change, the Ontario PC Party is going to take nothing for granted. Leading up to the next election, I look forward to working with Nina and the rest of our team as we work hard to spread the Ontario PC Party’s positive message with the people of Ontario.”
