Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on the Nomination of Norm Miller

“I congratulate Norm Miller on his nomination as the Ontario PC candidate for Parry Sound-Muskoka.

“Norm has been serving his constituents as a member of our Ontario PC team since 2001. Having served in a number of important Legislative roles, including Opposition Whip, Norm is an experienced Parliamentarian who is very effective in advocating for the communities he serves.

“For years, Norm has been a strong voice for accountability at Queen’s Park. He has twice introduced and debated a bill that would strengthen the Auditor General’s oversight in the province of Ontario. Norm is currently doing great work as our Caucus’ critic for Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation as well as our critic for Northern Development and Mines.

“After 13 years in power, life is harder under the Liberal Government. Electricity prices are skyrocketing. Health care is being slashed. Billions of tax dollars are being wasted on scandal after scandal. It’s time for a change in Ontario.

“I look forward to working with Norm to spread our Party’s vision for a more prosperous province with the people of Parry Sound-Muskoka.”
