Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on the nomination of Ted Arnott

“I congratulate Ted on his nomination as the Ontario PC candidate for Wellington-Halton Hills.

“Since 1990 Ted has been a stalwart in his community, consistently proving himself to be a passionate and effective advocate for his constituents. Ted boasts a long list of successes for his community, including helping to persuade the government to approve the Highway 6 Morriston bypass, and commit to building a university campus in Milton.

“Respected on both sides of the aisle, Ted serves as Deputy Speaker and the Ontario PC Caucus’ Labour Critic. I know Ted will continue his hard work on behalf of his constituents and hold the government accountable.

“After 13 years in power, life is harder under the Liberals. Ontarians are faced with skyrocketing hydro rates, cut after cut to their health care services, and Liberal scandal, waste and mismanagement is making life increasingly unaffordable. It’s time for change in Ontario.

“I look forward to working with Ted to spread the Ontario PC Party’s message of a stronger and more prosperous province.”
