Statement from Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown on Chinese New Year

“I would like to offer my warmest greetings to all the people of Ontario celebrating the arrival of the Year of the Rooster

“Families will be coming together, often travelling many miles, to celebrate the Spring Festival with colourful lion dances, lantern festivals and feasts.  From Ottawa to Toronto, from Sudbury to Windsor, the celebrations will no doubt be spectacular!

“At this joyous time, we can reflect on the past year and look forward with great optimism and excitement for the future.

“Ontario is blessed to have such a vibrant Chinese community who add to our wonderful social, economic, academic, and cultural diversity.

“So in this the Year of the Rooster, let us celebrate just how much Canadians of Chinese heritage brings to Ontario.

“As Leader of the Ontario PC Party, I wish you the very best health, happiness and prosperity in the New Year.

“Xin Nian Kuai Le!”
