Bob Chapman is the Ontario PC candidate for Oshawa.
Bob is a life-long resident of Oshawa who served over 30 years with the Durham Regional Police, retiring as a Superintendent. Bob remained passionate about serving his community and was elected as a Regional and City Councillor in 2010 and re-elected in 2014.
Bob also served in the Canadian Army, Regular and Reserve, for over 37 years, holding many senior command and staff positions. He retired as a Colonel. In 2016, he was appointed Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel of Oshawa’s own Ontario Regiment by the Minister of National Defence.
He has received a number of honours and awards for his community service, and was invested into the Order of Military Merit, the Order of Merit of the Police Forces, and the Order of St. John.
Bob is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management Police Leadership Program, the Queen’s University School of Business Public Executive Program, Durham College’s Business Management Skills Program, and is certified by the Ontario Municipal Management Institute as a Municipal Manager Level III Police Executive.
Bob strongly believes it’s time for a change in Ontario. He wants to see Oshawa families who work hard to pay less and get ahead.
